I think the conclusion that the EU blogosphere could benefit greatly from a committed filterer/aggregator/promoter is definitely true.
A "Fran" producing a "blog Salon" every week, if you like.
But where to find a person with the time to do it? I've barely written anything in a long while myself, so I have to admit, I don't know...
Yes, that is the issue. For blog carnivals you have rotating authors, but for what Jon wants to do, I think a fixed team of authors is ideal.
